Hey guys, because my lazy *** decided to do a brake job (pads, rotors, fluid) on a Sunday afternoon, I ran out of time and didn't finish. M-F I'm far too busy with work to get anything done or even drop the car by a mechanic to finish (wouldn't want to do that in the first place!). As much as I was looking forward to seeing 8club's finest (and hear you guys give me **** for my fenders, such as Mazfest, even though I wasn't there ), there is really no way I can make it to this one.

Unless I can make some magic happen, I'm pretty fucked out of this one. Have a good time everyone Better a Ford Focus show than Seven Stock I suppose.

No can do, unfortunately. I didn't start working until long after you guys left, and I had some piston drama that just really screwed things up for me.

 

pro-tip - usually u have to push the piston back in then its easy to get it around the pads

Haha, it just turned into a little caliper rebuild + brake bleed to finish everything off. Really just ran out of time due to unexpected stuff coming up. I may just have to finish Friday night and meet up with you guys on the highway on Saturday, but still pending on this one

There are now 81 cars signed up for this event so it should make for a fun day once we all roll in saturday morning.
Remember to bring a small cooler or something to drink, a foldable chair so you can sit down (or blankets / beach towels since we'll be on the grass) and don't forget to set your alarms for the caravan .
