i agree that as a group we should try to be nicer to newbs and tone down the attitude a bit.
when i first joined this forum, i felt very welcome and appreciative of the help i got with my questions. i'm not sure that same friendly environment is still what our forum is nowadays.

Having both a FC and a FE, I noticed both here on this board and in the real world that some RX-8 owners tend to be much more like vette owners and don't have the comradely that most RX-7 owners tend to have, not only to other rotary powered cars, but too fellow owners.
Kinda sad, that the worst thing about the RX-8 is some of the people that buy them.

Your obviously not familiar with the RX7 forum - actually nice guys in person until you post over there. Hold on to your shorts and hope they are flame proof. Usually the only reason you get flamed here is being a dick and asking questions that are the subject of several active threads. Never hurts to look a little bit.

just give the guy's a break and help them alittle.
