I hate to be Mr. Negative, but I doubt you'll get that many more 8s to go. Sad but true, the 8 community is falling apart as of late. Hopefully there will be more to show up at the actual event.

 

Hah! People keep scheduling meets on Saturdays when I had class (no more) or Sundays when I have autocross. That's why I haven't been to any in a while.

Right now its a go for Winfree and Team Granny! We will start out from San Miguel, Friday before or about noon, and will be arriving at about 7-9 pm - We plan to overnight at NASA, or the Navy Lodge at Moffett Field, but we need to know the when, and the where the event will be - Treasure Island is an old Naval facilitiy and has streets and buildings and addresses... Finding the Island is not the problem, knowing the where, and the when is important, as little old ladies move slowly when not behind the wheel - We do want to attend all lectures! Thanx

 

Its going to be hard to keep people together after the toll area.

 

I'm sure we'll manage.

 

i live in sf....so im wondering if i can meet up with some of you that live here before we go? i dun want to be circling treasure island like retard all day looking for a parking lot....

^The toll is $3. When you get on the Bay Bridge, remember move to your left. Treasure Island exit is on the left lane!


Wassup Simon ? There supposedly is a caravan of rx7 guys from Stonestown from 10:30am to 11:30am so you can possibly meet them up there. I'm not sure if I'm going to meet them up, but there is a strong possibility I just might.

 

We are going to be meeting at the McDonalds parking lot at 11:30 a.m. leave by 12

We are also meeting up with the So-Cal RX-7 caravan at that same place around that time. I have the Blue FD if you want to say hi lol.

Me either, there is no set place for the event, but they are saying that the place is so small and there are so many cars attending we shouldn't miss it. I'm going to print out maps of the directions to get there just incase. Only 10 or so.

Glad all of you could make it. Hopefully we enjoyed the caravan (minus the bridge wait! and going so slow at first, wtf was up with that?) Turn out for the meet was great, perfect place to hold it too, never been on the island before.

 

For being my first type of meet ever.. it was definitely a rewarding experience. You guys have me signed up for future ones already.
