So I am thinking that my engine is really up there (105,000 miles), so going to try PREMIX to extend the longevity of the engine. But does anybody think that it'll hurt the catalytic converter to run PREMIX? Of course I am concerned due to our ever stringent SMOG laws.

 

My CAT has 139,000 miles on it been pre-mixing since 70,000. I have passed state inspection twice and it still works. I use about 4.0 oz of Idemitsu per fillup

I premix 4oz. Idemitsu and 2oz. FP Plus per fill up.

My cat looks very clean and I took it off to inspect it last week since I was putting on my Greddy SE exhaust.
