About 1/28 autox, see http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/ for detail. The event is hosted by SFR SCCA at McAfee Coliseum. Please arrive at 8am since BS will be running in the morning group. SCCA membership and valid driver license are required to participate, while spectating is free. I'm new to SFR SCCA, though familiar with autox for running one full year back on east coast (PA/NJ/NY). I can sponsor one non-member guest for participation. Please note that you are required to work. NO WORK NO RUN. Work involves ******** cones, flagging, and etc. The cost for non-member is $40. You may only be a guest once, whereby membership is required afterwards ($70~$80/annual).

I'm expecting a strong showing of hardcore RX-8 autoxers, so more the merrier!

 

it was nice to see some new faces last night. For those who stuck around you got to see jon after we waited an hour and a half for him to wash his car (by the way I tried to wash my car this morning and the water just froze when it hit metal) Jon you did make it worthwhile by taking us on the run in calavaras

 

Sorry, couldn't make it last night. My friend was in town so I had to drive all the way to South San Fran to meet him. Won't make it next weekend either as I'll be in LA, but the weekend after that I will be there.

 

yeah it was awesome to see some new faces, i have yet to meet an RX8 owner that isnt really nice, aside from myself of course lol, and chill. Had a nice run through calaveras

Damn it jon, get some new tires so you can hang, it sucks having to be out there by myself, lol

*sigh* i wont be able to make any meets for sure now. so today i went to newpark to exchange a pair of shoes. half an hour later i return to my car to see that my cars rear left fender by the wheel well has been smashed ): hit and runs suck!

 

 

So these meets are on fridays or saturdays? Id really like to meet some Norcal RX8 owners, and their cars.

that's why i've almost completely swore off Newpark Mall, there's a bunch of idiots that drive there... last time i was there... 4 people ran right through the stop sign by 24hour... anyways, sorry to see your car smashed in, really hope it gets fixed because i'd probably never stop crying if my 8 was in that kind of shape

well, for all fairness, i can't exactly blame it on Newpark. The possibility of the event occuring is evident wherever we may go with our car. The only real way we can prevent it is if we leave our cars in the garage all day long, everyday.
