Places to dyno in Phoenix/Glendale?

Hey AZ members, I need a good place to get my 8 dyno'ed. Looking for a couple pulls for not too much. And possible some tuning, too (thinking of getting a GReddy E-manage ultimate or interceptor-X), possible one that specialises in rotaries. Thanks in advance for the advice.

I don't think that we really have any places that dyno tune rotaries. I know of two shop but neither has a dyno.

Turblown.net for one shop and Azrotaryrockets.com for the other.

the 7 owners rely on either Gotham Racing making a stop here or getting to Cali for thier tuning needs. For us 8 owner, it's really just the few here that understand and know how to fix them.

Ugh, don't tease me! I have toyed with this idea for years. I even have many qualified ASE-certified friends to help me! One even has his GI bill to help and can easily secure a $100,000 business loan! Too tempting!

I wish I had a shop for ya but the only advice I can give is stay away from Vivid Racing. Getting a hold of MazdaManiac is probably your best bet.

Oh Yea,

VividRacing:
1. way to far to drive to.
2. Not going to touch my rotor.
3. Cost to much for what you get.
4. Don't like their customer handeling/service.

I want to hit up MM just to get together to check out his 8, mmmmm turbo.
Thanks Easy E1, I think I'm headed to that dyno day on March 3rd. Anyone else gonna be in attendance? Looks like a nice gathering of RX-8's, 3's and 6's will be there.

My team uses UMS Tuning in Scottsdale for dynos (DynoPack) and tuning, but I have yet to try out their expertise on a rotary. They've done some pretty good work including tuning my buddy's 315+ whp Nissan Sentra Spec V!

No problem. Let me know how it goes if you check out UMS. I wanna get a good plan for some goodies soon.

I'm going to the Dyno day that's going to be organized by Arizona Mazda Club (AZMC) on March 3rd. I'll get a baseline there and then go for tuning somewhere on a future date. Come on 180-rwhp!!
