What time on Friday did you see the black 8 by Knott's Berry Farm?

at huntington beach on main st
with plate DR LEE

 

oh boy saw alot of rx-8s today.... one silver one on the 605 to the 5 north it had a billet grill around noonish?.... saw another red one in glendale going up some very curvy and very fun roads on tuesday at around... i onoe 6ish? and i saw 2 others in cerritos a red one and a silver one that just drove right past me at around 10 am tuesday on like south and another on 183rd.... SO MANY RX8S NOW!

I had a suspicion it was you Mike... That was me.. I had the license plate... "Rotary X"

Sunlight Silver, Mazdaspeed B-Pillars, Clear Corners, and the Billet grill thing...

In Cerritos, I know I'm the only one so far that is silver, I was out and about Tuesday around 10am... could be me. Saw a Black one at that time.

So far, 2 Reds, 3 Blacks, 1 Titanium, 1 Silver in Cerritos that I know of.

At least now I know it's you with the exhaust and the 5HBXxxx or something license plate.

 

Hi LoPo. I'm sure it was my 8 you saw. I work in the University Research Park, and I'm pretty darn sure I have the only yellow 8 in the center (since October '03). Sounds like me too... leaving work too slow to catch up to you... cause I don't put much load on the engine until it warms up (which is never right when I leave work).

Does it look familiar? This is right in front of one of those buildings.

I saw a brand-new winning blue 8 late yesterday afternoon driving west on Pathfinder in Diamond Bar... anybody here?

 

Two days ago saw a titanium rx-8 in Irvine turning onto barranca. i aknowledged him.

I didn't even know there was an OC sighting thread... all the RX-8's seem to be here in the Irvine area, but I've only spotted about 5 in the past 5 months!

I give a thumbs up to all the RX-8's I can, though I don't have a history with rotary. I love sports cars though.

 

The ones I see never like to acknowledge another 8. You can tell they are actually annoyed by seeing another 8 close to them, I guess it is the loss of exclusivity or something.

Anyway, mine is red, all stock, no strakres, no appearance package, no wing, no vanity plates...... and yes I always like to wave to other 8 owners.

 

I'm pretty sure if the person reads this message forum, they will wave or something... All the 7s I've encountered have acknowledged... but about 3/4 of the 8s acknowledge back. Guess the regular joe schmoe person that doesn't read the forums wouldn't know why the heck we're waving back.

 

I didn't even find the forums for a while but a cute girl drove across an intersection while I was stopped at a red light at the front of the line and honker her horn, smiled and waved. I figured then and there that RX-8 owners automatically get a sweet car and kinship. =)

 

Second time Ive seen Black RX-8 parked in front circle valet at irvine spectrum in the evening.

 

I keep seeing a black 8 on the 55N around chapman, but he never looks at me back (hmm maybe its my shaved head)

Actually I've a lot of 8's but they never bother to look at me, dang am I that ugly?

 

Saw a silver, new with REV on the plates, base model in Cerritos... followed behind me a bit. Not sure what REV means, didn't look like a dealership though.

Saw Black, Aero Pack, GT, in So Pasadena, with some random blond chick.

Silver, Accents, base model at Hong Kong Supermarket in Monterey Park, parked right next to it.

3 in one day, getting pretty common nowadays

 

Saw a few rx-8's today. A blue rx-8 at the spectrum we exchanged words, hes a fellow reader here, say hi if you read this.

REV is the dood who setup the meet at autobacs a few weeks back.

 

Ahh the Autobacs meet... I missed that one. Wonder if he just changed the REV thing to replace the dealer paper thing. I tried to give him an acknowledgment, but he was either behind me, or to the side of me.

 

Haven't seen any RX-8's, least of all my own, in over 6 months...

Any Orange County meets going on 8-16 Aug?

its not REV guys its REN Short for Renesis, thats my cars name...REN.......i saw u Rotary X but i didnt notice you till i saw the back of ur car! i tried to catch up to you, but it was all traffic!!!, nice to meet you tho =D....any OC meets this july? i was thinking of a county wide meet, LA to OC, that whould be a huge meet.....anyone up for it?
