Seems like I saw more before i got my black on black 8 2 weeks ago. I run across a silver 8 on Yorba Linda blvd just about every other night. Never get drivers attention though, suppose he's having too much fun

RX8CaliGirl ~ I live in Cerritos, and yes its a very nice city; safe and friendly. Buena Park is nice too, but there are parts that's kind of ghetto. From Cerritos, its about 15-20 min drive on 5 South to Santa Ana in the morning (depending on what time your work).
Cerritos is a bit more expensive than Buena Park. You could also try Cypress, which is right next to Buena Park.
Fullerton is also a good choice, although you probably have to drive a bit of local to get on the Freeway. Areas in Fullerton I would recommend would be on Beach Blvd. going East past the 5 freeway.
Brea is also a nice, but sort of expensive, but cheaper than Costa Mesa, Irvine, Tustin.
I wouldn't recommend living in Santa Ana because its Ghetto, except the areas around Disneyland, but those are expensive.
You could also try Fountain Valley, which is west of Santa Ana, which is OK. Huntington Beach is another choice, but Huntington Beach is huge and you might as well live near the beach, which is also cool. Drive from both Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach could be tricky; it requires the use of both local streets and freeway; driving time varies between 10 min to 40 min, again depending on what time you start work.

there are no apartments in cerritos (one next to ralphs yah but way too expensive) i say your best bet is finding something in anaheim... near disneyland. thats around a 10 minute drive. You can also try Orange. I know a bunch of people are looking for roomates in Irvine :D if you wanna live with some college kids haha

I alway give a couple of hi-beam flicks to RX-8 drivers, just to get their attention, then wave. Never got any back in acknowledgement, tho.
The only wave I ever got was last summer in Yosemite, of all places. A black one came down around a bend and waved and I waved back. Pretty cool!

Black one is Mikelikes2drives.. he has the Racing Beat frame around his license plate, and of course the RB exhaust. Never seen the red Sociopath's either... hmmm
I'm the Silver with "Rotary X" license plate and the funny looking wing.
There's a yellow that always parks next to the donut shop at Cypress College.
And of course Zoom-Zoom sticker, Greddy exhaust Ibfubar's yellow RX-8 that drives through Cerritos sometimes.

I ran into a brand new (no plates) white RX8 while trying to park for lunch in Irvine. He tried to get my spot but when he saw me waiting for it, he took the one that opened up a few spots over. I told him "nice car" he just smiled and said "yeah".
