we'll have to see how things go once the determination is made. If they man up and cover the repairs...it is only going to cost me 100 dollars. I have a 100 deductible on my extended warranty plan.

One thing going in my favor, for a transmission replacement rather than parts rebuild, is that some of the parts needed are on backorder...which would mean that my car may spend over a month parked down at the dealership. I have rental reimbursement on my extended warranty, so they will have to figure in the amount of a month or so of rental coverage if they go the parts route. If they go the transmission replacement route, they could swap in the new part within a day or two and I would be on my merry way.
