My to-do list.

1) Buy a good hose...those who have seen my hose will know what I am talking about

Jedi, bring your hose thingy over.

2) Buy some MF towels

3) Buy a MF mit

4) Prep garage for company

5) get a bag of ice for the ice chest

6) Buy doughnuts Saturday

 

Maybe you who are coming over can get together to talk about what else to bring over...drinks, snacks....

I was going to share the stuff Keith got but what else might I need aside form the zaino stuff or will there be enough for everyone.

Jedi oh god what a find!!! (And I almost never use the lords name invane), that will be created into a desktop tonight to share with all. Waht a treat to see when i got back from lunch.

Make a list of what we do not have and then have people sign their name next to it.

- As for Saturday: I think you'll need a bunch of towels (if you don't have enough, go to where Cesar got his) and you'll need some applicator pads. AutoZone sells some good microfiber ones. (they're gold and round) Maybe a washmit?

 

Thx...ok it's ordered so hopefully it comes before Saturday. And thanks to everyone for the comments on the tinting! Keith and Erica, what would you like me to bring....food/drinks?

 

Thought I would bring back some old pictures, from the past....just for sharing purposes.

 

we are going to need:

buckets - I'll have 2 with me
MF towels - Each person needs to bring enough for their car
MF mits - 1 for each person. (these get dirty quickly so I suggest not sharing)
applicator pads - 3 to 4 each depending on how much zaino you apply.
clay bars - Only if you're doing full zaino. I think only Loren will need one since Cesar and Keith are doing their clay before Saturday
dish soap - Keith is in charge of having Dawn soap
car wash soap - included in each zaino kit

I remember you were exhausted at the event because you guys were up all night.

i was at Pep Boys yesterday and saw the Mother's Clay Bar you guys were talking about. it was about $18? (i forget.) if my car has general water spots, swirl marks, and a coarse finish (ie when u run your hand across my car it doesn't glide), should i be doing clay bar first or a orbital polish first? meesa confused-sa...

 

Claybar first. Forget the orbital polish all together. Then some good polish. If you don't go w/ Zaino, Turtle Wax ICE or Meguirs NXT.
The claybar at Autozone is $10+. It's what I used, and works great.

I'm trying to work a deal on some caps.

5 sets.

Windshield washer fluid
Radiator
Brake
Oil

These will all say RX-8 perferably in script.
Then on the bottom I would like to put our club Logo
The words need to be short.


there will be no circles around the words RX-8. We will save that room for our club logo/abbreaviation.

SO let's hear it on what we want.

Also I need a list of who is in.

Of course if we get more than 5 people that would be great.
