Day by day I loose my trust in humanity. Looks to me like someone threw a brick into your windshield bro. Sorry to see and hear about that. But, like someone here said, that's the easiest part to replace. It just sucks that you have to replace it. Unlike me where someone woman hit my car while it was parked in it's parking spot. I had to take my car to the auto body shop for a week just to get my front replaced. At least you can have an auto glass company come out to your residecnce to replace your windshield. Best of luck to you. By the way, where did this happen?

If it was from an airplane it would most likely reach terminal velocity, which for a rock can be quite damn high. A rock that size at terminal velocity would most likely make a RX-Pancake.
