Official Riverside Meet!
Damn Mike that sux good luck gettin it fixed bro.
Still having starting issues Jedi? I thought I read you had figured that out. Good luck hope it gets taken care of today.
G8ter might be right lol I droped a rim last night scratched the entire lip and chipped the face in 2 spots. FML lol guess that's what I get for rushing and not paying full attention

Finally got rid of that shudder I had when I was braking. New drilled and slotted rotors did the trick. Along with that the vast amount of info here on the forums getting the two rotor retaining screws out was a piece of cake. Few whacks on a manual impact driver and done! Getting the old rotors off on the other hand took awhile and some pounding with a rubber mallet. All in all though not bad and the car stops great. Thanks 8 club forum members for your posts.
Wow this thread is crazy dead now! Any way was lookin around on racing beats site and BAM a pick of my 8 from SS pops up under customer rides. Of course I had to print screen and save it lol.
you guys still meet up? im itchin to roll out and there is only one or two of us out this way that actually meet. im out next to palm springs area but if you guys meet i would roll out that way. seeing as i drive to San diego and huntington beach all the time for meets lol
Currently the Riv chapter is pretty dead and our meets have been inconstant at best. Life has gotten in the way for a lot of us and a few no longer have their 8's. Keep an eye on the thread though we still put stuff together from time to time.
Not Rev he does love his Subi.

there's a meet by UC riverside every other wednesday if you guys wana roll out to something. i'm usually there. there's one this wednesday i believe. starts at 8 and it's at a tea house called boba tea house on blaine in between canyon crest and watkins
I usually do my own oil changes pretty easy on the 8. I just use 5w30 nonsynthetic when I change it. I haven't had to smog mine yet so no help there. let me know if there is anything you need a hand with. Welcome to the 8 club.

No Sir. El Jeffe is riding solo for a bit. I still check in with the local mazda guys from time to time, but, I'm just taking it easy right now. The Suby guys seem alright just a little cocky because of the cars. And, I am loving my Suby. It's a totally different experience. It's taking a lot to learn how to drive it and figure out the nuances of the car. I'm used to worrying about not letting the *** kick out and now I havea car that pretty much never looses traction.
We need to get a group together for another DTF night or something though. I haven't seen anybody since before I killed my 8.

The days of Jeromes are long gone, hey nick you every get those shocks on?
