I'm usually not worried about swirls as much as dust. That's why I use the california car duster.

Too many white lexus out there.

Also, black is funky to photograph, the blackness plus shininess messes with the meter.

Expensive/Sports cars look amazing in white. I personally enjoy any light-heavily modified white car of the type > all other colors. Also, photochick, as a fellow photographer I thought you would've known how to catch the shadowing/corners on a white car :P

White also reflects different hues and temperatures best imho
