Ideally i would like a group of at least 15-20 cars. The park i have in mind for the event can facilitate a huge number of cars and it's a great location.

If you guys are down...maybe we can get a buzz going n' maybe do it to kick off the spring n' summer season.

 

Just tell me what you need man. Let's start a new thread on it. We can get caravan groups from all over and cruise there.

 

the idea is pretty much still in it's brainstorming stage. I can start a thread n' gauge how many people would be down for it tho...we can pitch ideas n' see what everybody thinks...

what do you think?? I was aiming to have it at the end of March to kick off the spring...i hope the weather will be ok by then...you think that's enough time for people to get their car's together??


p.s. - food n' drinks are probably all i would request - i can make some pretty good hawaiian bbq chicken n' musubi's n' my girl can make some bacon potatoe salad - iono if that could hold everybody over tho...

p.s.s. - the park has a huge field, baseball field, swimming pools and basketball courts.

 

I'm definitely down for the bbq. Hopefully that domino affect doesn't make all your **** weak. what kind of grilling power does your park have atilla?

Everywhere just about I'll probaly hit up Yucaipa Sunday and rancho jurupa Monday before work.

 

Ok, so I guess the next meet will be on Wed the 18th? Tentatively at my house so we can troubleshoot Nicks ride.

 

Is nick still having those traction control issues??

 

Yeah, we went for a run through Idyllwild this past Saturday and he was only able to run at about 30 mph through the twisties. I'm thinking we tweaked one of the ABS sensors when we did his springs.

imo, John (aka spinning sushi) might be able to help you out...i'll shoot him a text to see if he wants to swing by n' lend a hand....

 

Cool. Yeah I have the workshop manual. Some of the diagnostics require some special electronics though. I think the plan was just to swap some of our working sensors to his to troubleshoot which one is acting up. Any help would be awesome because the Manual made it seem a little involved.

 

I'll have the 18th off for some family stuff, I'm pretty sure i'll be able to make it out later in the day!!!

Not in a couple months. We still text and call him around meet days and he doesn't answer and doesn't show up. i think it would be a good idea anyways because our group has evolved past the boundaries of the OP. Let's discuss it at the next meet.
