Amazing meet tonight guys! Not only did we rule the mountain, we got to hang with Jack Nicholson! True story! I can't wait till the next meet. I say we try to fix Nicks car. I felt bad that his traction is still screwed.

 

I agree geoff. super fun run and the kareoke was funny. We definitely need to help nick figure that **** because that is just no fun. Next time we meet up, we should dedicate it to trouble shooting nicks car.

The more I think about it the more I think your right Geoff. I think one of the abs wires may have gotten pulled on a bit or something.

So, I got my engine to sound right....all I had to do was attach the Leading 1 spark plug wire. I ran the whole mountain without it connected the other night. Figure that sh*t out. I guess I forgot to put the plug back on after I redid the terminal end before the meet. No more crazy growl, lol. FML

The crazy thing is the computer didn't throw any codes or anything.

 

Wait, u said it wasn't plugged before. Now you're saying it was unplugged again during our run up idyllwild?

 

No, the #2 Trailing plug wasn't in before and after the install the #1 Leading plug was disconnected and stayed disconnected until about 20 mins ago.

 

Lol and you still ran better than me. How's it feel now that it's all set up right?

 

Pretty amazing. Super smooth, pulls good, and sounds proper. Even without the leading plug on I got better gas mileage than before, lol

 

That's hilarious. Glad that thing came together in time for the run. Hopefully next cruise I'll be all straightened out and not be that guy holding up traffic lol.

 

Seriously. I was looking at the and sensors on rock auto and they are about $60 a piece. I say we try to narrow down the sensor first. I'm not sure how hard that's going to be. You may want to see how much a diagnostic would be for just the abs just in case we can't handle it.

Yeah I agree Sam I'll take a vacation day or find a sitter for my kids one day and we'll start figuring I out.

Neiron n' Rei: yeah man, my car is in the shop - nothin' big though (i hope ) i'm probably going to get a compression check just in case. My car has been feeling a little off as of late. My cat has failed (p0420) so i'm wondering if the domino effect has set in...i'm also going to be checking my plugs, coils n' wires. When my engine blew they replaced the coils but i specifically remember reading the paperwork they handed me n' noticed they didn't change the plugs. It's been about 30k on the plugs n' wires.

**** i hate maintenance.

I also haven't had time to do **** as of late. but i wanna make it out to something sooner or later. Preferrably not a night cruise tho Aside from me having terrible vision...i've had some bad experiences w/night canyon cruises


btw, kinda want some feedback on this - would you guys be down to have a park bbq meet in March??
