thank you all for your concern. We'll see how it turns out. I should be hearing from insurance today or tomorrow about how much it is going to cost and see what is actually wrong with it

Depending on time I'm in. Im tryin to do a shift swap now to get off early.

Also seems I have a problem with my suspension. This morning on my way to work coming down the windy road of Cajalco anytime I would take a corner over 40-45 my traction control would kick in. This has been the first day I could actually take the road or any curves at any speed because of rain. Before the spring install I would hit these same corners at 50+ dunno whats going on but it doesnt seem good.

unfortunately that rarely works; I did the same thing the first time I swapped out my suspension, took it to an alignment shop a week or two later because it just didn't feel right and the guy comes back and says, "whoa, those setting were all over the board."

might be as simple needing an alignment if all you guys did was swap springs or struts.
check your endlinks to make sure they're secured properly and I assume the sway bars didn't get installed in reverse or anything? (seen this plenty of times before so I always like to rule out the obvious stuff first)

Is the road wet at all? Also, check the ABS lines though. I'm not sure if one got pulled or something. The shop manual was saying that if they were pulled it could cause an open loop in the circuit. Maybe that could be the problem too?

I'm thinking we meet up around noon - 1pm??

btw; Wish i could offer some help Neiron...but yah, i don't have traction control

i've never really had to deal with that. Only thing i can offer is there is a small sensor in the back suspension that has to do with TCS - check n' see if it's been tampered with. /blind guess

On it stays lol just gonna have to drive slow. As I've been thinkin on it the rear has felt kinda loose in general. Figured it was just the susp settling and just a dif feel.

I'd check all the connections to make sure everything is bolted down properly.
start with the top of the struts in the trunk and work your way down to the strut itself, endlinks, and sway bars.

could be something slightly loose?

Wow seems like our cars are having some kinda prob. I just took my car to get a brake job and a bleed cuz I have a low pedal caused by air in the abs unit.

Neuron09- could be a misalignment cuz I had that prob too, until I got an alignment/rear camber kit. Plus didn't u say u needed shock replacement. That could be the issue too.

Rei-teki- sorry to hear about the incident. Just as long as u were safe. But dam I hope it's not an expensive fix.

Neiron: if the car feels a bit squirrly, it's probably alignment related but I'm very paranoid about making sure everything is tightened down properly when it comes to suspension work otherwise you'll end up stranded on the side of the road when bolt comes off your suspension while driving.
ask me how I know. (that's the last time I ever delegate torque spec duties to someone)

I had the rear shocks checked when I got the new tires was told they are fine. Could just be the alignment. Am I correct in the assumption that this would be the rear with the traction control issues?

I agree better safe than sorry. I do know that mongo and rei were pretty diligent about following the tech specs. Don't wanna make it seem like I'm assuming they screwed up. My only reason for checking is piece of mind. A lot to put back together under sometimes things get missed although I'm pretty sure that isn't the case.
