i was on xbl last night...hella frustrated for the most part but still fun.

GADDAMN IT - WHERE IS MY FLAKJACKET!?!?

 

So far it's been lagtastic lol. Honestly though so far I'm not overly impressed with the unlock system. I wanna choose which attachments and perks I unlock. The little storyline I've played so far was cool.

 

not sure what you mean by the unlock system?? What level are you?? wait - are you talkin' about having to use a gun a certain amount of time to unlock different attachments??

imo, i think it's kinda cool. yah, it's a PITA to get to the good attachments but at least it prevents people from immediately jumpin' into n00b tubing. lol. (unless you're me n' realize that the first "Grenader" class has a n00b toob attachment )

i also kinda like how much more difficult it is to level up - this should make multiplayer more challenging.

p.s. i like the gun selection

yah man, it's definitely more tough on the upcoming players but it definitely does enforce skill enhancement with each weapon.

my main gripe tho is no useful flakjacket that blastshield bullshit does nothing...i'm still gettin' blow'd up all the damn time


My gripe for the moment tho is that sniping is kinda tough...not that the gameplay prevents any good sniping but...IT'S THE DAMN MAPS. Pretty much all of the maps i've played so far have been medium to close range. wtf is up with that??

 

Yeah everything seems pretty close so far but I'm still getting sniped. The forced skill gain in wep is ok. Have to be certain levels for perk unlocks kinda sux. I mean I agree you shouldn't have em all off the bat I just wanna pick which I unlock when. Have t grabbed a sniper yet but I hope it's. Ether than black ops lol. Wish I was Xbox or you were ps3 always good times playin with peeps ya know

my gf (sephyobsessed) has a ps3...i'm an xbl fanboi tho...if i get some extra cash i might see about picking it up on ps3 too. lol.

+1 on playing with friends. I was on last night with Evil John for like two hours. Our team got raped a couple of times but we did pretty well individually. I'm pretty sure it won't be so bad later on once we get a better understanding of the maps...or at least until I GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING

seriously...not knowing the map seriously sucks. I'm getting my *** kicked

p.s. - machine gun pistol w/silencer = EPIC. Little recoil, excellent hip fire accuracy and quick pull up. Aside from the lack of range, i could seriously just run around the entire game w/just that. lol.

that blindeye perk is pretty legit tho...i gotta start using equipment better - ie mines, semtex's etc.

 

Keep in mind u are playing hardcore.. For the first time I'm actually enjoying regular mode for once

 

I haven't moved to hardcore yet but prob will soon. I've been tryin to play with the scar but I'm still partial to my m4. What machine pistol are you using Atilla?

btw, yah - core isn't bad but i still hate how many bullets i gotta dump into someone before they die. Yeah it sucks gettin' picked off by campers but that's to be expected since the game is still new. I'm beginning to get used to the campers n' i'm starting to figure out how to navigate my way around certain maps. I went positive for the last couple matches i was in...

i also like that new perk where you can see your opponents name tag when you look down the sights. That's really helpful against campers. I just aim my scope in random dark corners n' BOOM...camper...

btw, HARDCORE ALL DAY.

 

Yeah I'm starting to break even more often now a few matches I showed positive. The campers being less and less an issue. Getting to the perks too. I'm actually starting to dig the unlock system too. This way actually gives me something to shoot for while leveling. Still haven't seen any good sniper maps as of yet though. Did play a pretty cool speed map. I've also been using that same machine pistol, it's pretty bad ***. Other than the lack of range and slow initial pull out its great.

 

i did see a decent sniping map last night - it's the snow one (can't remember the name). I was ghosting and saw a teammate that was level 50-something that was sniping. I saw some pretty legit spots that i'm probably gonna try out later.

Still no good long range maps tho like the old MW or Black Ops's Hazard or Jungle Map.

that and...is it me...or is there only like 5 maps?? i swear it's pretty much the same ones over n' over.

 

Right just wishin I could play freakin net issues dunno wth is goin on. Grr lol I been unable to connect since mid day yesterday

 

^that would drive me nuts.

 

Believe me it's beyond frustrated at this point I've been dealing with these issues for months. Tech comes out "fixes" it, works for a few weeks then bam crap conn again. Worst part is works in every room, but where the ps3 is. Not only that but it seems to only not work on my days off. So I guess FML lol.
