Yay I'm back on rx8club. I'm in Shanghai and for some reason the internet at my house was unable to access rx8club; the only site that I couldn't connect to. I'm now at a Costa Coffee downstairs drinking overpriced coffee, but at least I can access this site. Unfortunately the internet is dreadfully slow and I can't access my IMing options. What the ****!

Not really. I can access rx8club with everything except the desktop at home. It's really weird.

Alright I need your help guys. I've been here for awhile and I haven't bought anything, it's kind of alarming. I want to get some CDs and some clothing. I'm not sure you'll be able to help with clothing, but can some of you (I'm looking at you guys Kelvin and Gerry) help me with some suggestions for fob music? Thanks.

Next drive should be either 2/28 or 3/1 if the weather cooperates. I don't know anything else as it's all up in the air right now.

totally off-topic. hey liyan, do u vote in the san marino city elections at all? if so, steer clear of this dude getting elected. he's a chinese/ taiwanese real estate developer with what i'd consider to be very questionable ethics. many homeowners of real estate development projects he's spear-headed- including myself- have been in some way of fashion financially screwed over by him...www.richardsundds.com...

i'm not really a fan of lee-hom. have one of his cd's from way back when, and he way, way over-exaggerates his pronunciation when he sings. plus, his chinese accent sounds ghetto abc... lol

I'm at Pudong Airport right now waiting (for the next two hours) to board a flight to Tokyo Narita where I will catch a flight back to LAX.

Two days ago I went to the SIC Karting World (Shanghai International Circuit) and while the top level kart was expensive at $40 for 8 minutes, it's absolutely the ****. It's got a 30 hp (yes more than 3 times the power of the joke of a rental kart that American liability allows us to rent) engine and while it's not as fast as a shifter kart, even being one speed there's plenty of thrust everywhere. It's like if the RX-8 had 350 hp, except you're sitting inches off the ground and everything reacts instantly.

You guys are lucky Shanghai doesn't have any mountains. ^_~

I think you're lucky because you would have gone up there and stayed there instead of coming back! Liyan the mountain hugger. lol
