^^ honestly liyan, there's no need to disassemble. just lube it up with a can of penetrating oil. it is most possibly the pedal assembly.

i know its a pain to get that wd-40 smell in your car, so find a less funky lube. and if you find the exact location... replace with white lithium grease(usually used for hinges and such, odorless).

remember to remove the floormat.

before performing the procedure, check the rod is free of binding by sliding back the protective rubber boot if there is one. occasionally this may also contribute to some problerms...

New to Pasadena....LA

Hey.. I moved to Pasadena a few months ago now, but I left my 8 up north in the garage....making trips in the Chevy as I moved down.... I miss it so much.. I am looking for a good repair shop down here as I think the rear end is going out. any help would be cool.

Cheers.

welcome tek. there are a few rotary only shops down here... try neptunespeed, or RRR (rotary reliability and something), mazdatrix, or JRX just to name a few.

ask around for those shop locations when u make it down for the meet. not sure if you have a warranty fix or ? depending on mileage and year i guess, huh?

zoo,

i finally put in the brake lines... and let me tell you, i knew it would feel better but i wasn't expecting a wow!

it feels better on a 1yr old car versus lines on a 10yr old car that for sure. can't wait to get the clutch line in...

what such nice mods for so little. this is gonna make me say sham-wow for a while!

so just lay out the date and plan for the drive... i'll be there if all else allows me. you know my situation.

Looks pretty sick imo. I think it's turbo'd. There are no details from JIC's blog except that they're at BW testing. Considering it's a time attack car, I'm almost 100% sure they used some form of FI. Anyway, I'm off to Mira Loma for the weekend, see you guys next week.

garden is cool but parking may be difficult at times.
bacalli is good but parking is limited as well.
"new" in cafe is an option. we can try it out once.
sunday bistro has a lot of parking but i hear its shady sometimes.

that's all i can think of at the moment.

There's also the Garden or Phoenix in Arcadia. Still, I say we send someone out to try to find a new place. Ideally it'll have plenty of parking, good prices, decent food, and enough seating to fit us all. Cute waitresses don't hurt either.
