was wondering if i could consult someone regarding my 8. not really into mods but i'm just concerned about the recalls and if they've been done to my 8 as it is a 04 model (03 build). i tried calling mazda if they have records but the stupid operator says she can't find any record.

i'm planning on bringing it to the dealership to examine but i'm guessing they'll be charging me for stuff that should be covered by the warranty.

 

If its recalls i dont think they should charge you, its something the dealer should take care of at no cost.

Any recall or TSB is supposed to be free. Although HI car dealers are sometimes real jerks! (Rant about replacing Nissan clutch with 10,000 miles on new vehicle)

JN is a cool dealership; they have done good by me so far.

 

how do they handle the used 8 owners? maintenance records are out of my hands (didn't even have the spare key but will keep on bothering servco) i don't know if i'm being paranoid but i felt like my 1st gear suddenly lost power, not sure about the other gears. i'm praying to god my 8 was one of the few good builds...
