for the last 3yrs. or so somebody, or a small group of people have been vandilizing my rides. like about 20min. ago, someboyd just threw an egg at my car. i'm so pissed off right now . i don't know who's doing this. it just totally pisses me off! i mean, do people not have anything else better to do than trash my stuff? i swear, the day i catch these people, they have no idea what's coming to them! last time they did this, they left small cracks all over my door. i haven't yet fully assessed the damage done to my car, but i'm sure it's similar to how it was from last time it happened. AARRRGGGHHHHH !!!!!!

well, i just got done washing my car.....1:50am PST for those of you not in the PST area. got all the egg stuff off my car, but now the paint is chipped yet again. this time it's on the driver side suicide door towards the bottom. the first one is on the driver side door above the door handle. I didn't take a pic of my car this time. I'm just so frustrated, and angry at these people. when i find out who is doing this, they're going to regret having messed around with me. that really sucks.

you need to do one of three things...

1. start parking in a garage with a door that locks (powered garage doors meet this criteria)
2. if #1 isn't an option, get a car cover with a lock on it. pita i know, but it might need to be done
3. set up a video sting operation, and get the bastards on camera. then figure out who they are, then get an estimate for repairing the egg damage, then multiply that by the number of times this has happened, then press charges and slap them with the bill. they probably won't find the endevor quite as entertaining after getting a multiple thousand dollar bill.

and if that still doesn't work, release the hounds

 

I am doing the same thing i am setting up cameras all around house to montor what is going outside. I was keyed, egged, and rock the size of your rims thrown in to my roof on my eclipse. people are ******** u just have to learn how to live with them

I would HIGHLY reccomend a security system.... if you can, park your car where it is visible from an inside window, purchase a D-Link or Linksys camera. (be sure you have a router) set-up the camera so that it keeps an eye on your car, and you will find the vandilizers.

the cost for a good camera AND a router is is aprox. $250-300 MAX.

#1 can't be done as you can barely walk in my garage there is so much stuff in there, and the driveway has a non-op car and a trailer in it.
#2 can't be done ATM since i don't have a car cover, but can be done as soon as i get one.
#3 can be done. just has to be set up (we already have all the hardware needed)

and my hounds conisist of a 6Lbs and 8Lbs. chihuahuas

That sucks sorry to hear and sorry to see about the egg damage. As for you and yoru car you have to come to one of our san berdo meets. You have the rims I want, are they 19" I want to see them in person.

as for the meets, i am aware of the san berdoo meets, but unfortunately i cannot make it to those because i am working at that time. if it were at night, like say 8pm on the same days, it would be a much different story.

i am going to this other meet happening tonight at 8:30. Details in this thread . Worked all day, so i wasn't able to clean out my car all the way out. the inside of my car is all dirty . tomorrow morning before work i'll clean it out....that is if i wake up early enough

 

So sorry to hear about your problems!! (from one who knows how it feels). I can't even bring myself to post pictures of my car with the eggs on it. The video camera does seem to help. I hope you catch your vandals. In my case it would be a felony if they were caught due to the amount $$ of damage they caused. Good Luck!!!!
