I dont think that made any sense...but am I the only one that noticed that 8 drivers in Vegas dont wave/flash their lights or anything like 8's in the rest of the country do? Ive seen so many 8's on the road and only has ever done the whole random coming up and talk to u thing...

or is it just me? lol

i don't think you are alone, its b/c most 8 owners arent enthusiasts who don't give a **** that you have an 8 too. in la ive seen 3-6 on the road each way to school for the past 2 years and probably 1 or 2 have waved

 

well at least im not the only one...ive gotten so many bad looks from 8 drivers though...kinda sad lol

 

they probably didn't like you because you're a girl.(they are insecure that the car they drive girls can drive too)

 

I've waved hi to most of the 8s that i saw and they did the same... although they were all middle or old people...

 

Next time I go to vegas.. if I see RX-8 w/ purple I'll hunt it down and honk like mad.

 

i waved at a shinka and a blue one today and both of the drivers looked at me like i was crazy

*off topic* some guy honked at me cause I paused like 2 seconds when the light turned green...and I gave him the finger and he pulls up next to me, apologizes, and asks me not to be mad at him............lolololol i almost died...what a loser

I'm Lightning Yellow w/ Vanity Plates...NEVR410 (Metro's code 410 is for driving reckless...so hence, "Never Reckless" (A total lie)..yes, my hubbie is Metro, on the Harley..so If ya get pulled over, tell him you love his wife's yellow 8, if you get a weird look, well, it wasn't him! HA!

BTW I had the same experience in front of the Galleria yesterday...***** in a blue 8 flipped me off for shadowing next to him! I was like what the...How RUDE! And I am soooo cute! Not that all boys are ******...just that one...ok well, there's a few out there..Especially the ones in the pickups! WHY? Is it we are so low, they don't see us? Is it jealousy? Yes! I think it must be jealousy!!

 

Didn't seem like it today... All I got was a head nod and a bad *** attitude... Didn't even stop or acknowledge that i was there...Especially when I followed you all the way around Wells Fargo to drop off your mom or someone...

I went to LA over the weekend...well it was more like a week...from tuesday until monday morning...and I saw like 4 8's and all of them waved...i come back to vegas and ive seen 2 since then...neither acknowledged me. It was quite annoying.

i dont see many rx8 owners around, but when I do, I find that more than half of them just stare at me like im a fool when i wave....oh well.

Hahaha... that's exactly what i did to flipstream (mister renesis plates). waved at him, followed him, and saw only a head nod...

 

Well, I'll be in Vegas for the Rodeo Finals and if I see you, I'll wave, BUT, I probably won't be in my 8 as I'll have hubby and both kids with me. Where would be put the luggage for us for 3 nights away? Anyway, if you see a wave or thumbs up from a maroon lexus or red 8 I'm just being nice.

I saw like two 8's yesterday and they both shot me death looks when I waved. grrr, u people. We need to organize a meet out here so I can meet owners who dont instantly make me hate them.

Vegas Rotary has a meet like every week...we should all go meet up wit them sometime...just a thought...

"Especially when I followed you all the way around"..i mean LITERALLY follow one around to the point like a stalker is the wrong way of doing things. Second, i was talking to my son in the back seat... so i don't know where this "bad ***" attitude you're referring to is coming from. Don't be so quick to judge... as far as i'm concerned, if someone--ANYONE starts following me around (rx8 or not) and say nothing when they pull up next to me like you did... i'd wonder WTF that person was doing.

Funny krazieKave, I noticed somewhere you went to Vegas and I was wondering if you took the 8. I'd love to take mine when we go but it's not too practical on that trip with a family of four. Don';t you kinda hate it when you see an 8 and you're not in yours?
