I suggest Autobachs in Stanton/Westminster because that way the LA people can still get down, as well as most of OC... and we can laugh at all the riDICKulous prices there.

Last time I dropped by, they had 2 STi's, 1 Evo8, and 1 Dodge Viper GTS, and of course the usuall 4 bangers. Imagine a line of RX-7s and 8's.

In-n Out in Tustin IS the regular meeting spot and will be for the first OC chapter get -together.


Autobacs is additional. Roll in together or just meet? Maybe grab some 7 forum guys. I'll hit 'em up.

 

Just Meet.. there is a Robin's to grab a bite to eat and chat up a storm.. or we can head towards Norm's down Beach.. that place rocks for meets... affordable food.

I'll be there. Wonder if we can get some So Cali Stickers from Polak in time for the meet..... This way, when we ever see another one of these, we will know that we use this board for messages..etc. Unlike some people that drive 8's and have no clue when I acknowledge them... hehehe

 

I'll be wearing my nifty Yoda is Cool T-shirt from 1983, Red floppy hat I got at Comdex, and my ultra Coolio Silver pocket protector I got to match my RX-8. We can all hold hands and dance in circles in front of Autobacs and sing merry songs together... ohh.. it will be so much fun. Aye, indeed it will!

That's right guys... The SO-CAL RX CLUB has established a regular monthly meet point in OC for all RX owners and enthusiast to meet. This is a very informal loose monthly meet for everyone to meet and greet and BS some... We would really hope that all the RX-8 folks would join us 0n 02/07. Maybe you all come down for an early lunch and then we all cruise over to SUPER AUTOBACS! Guys, we set the meet point, to get a regular thing going in OC, especially for all those new RX-8 owners. We are really looking to support the RX-8! You guys will all be able to give our guys feedback on all future OC meets....

Anyway we can combine the South Bay LA/OC meet to Autobacs? More the merrier? This way we can show off our cars in front of all the riced up cars.

No problem.. just make the AutoBacs meet around 2:00pm and the peeps from the So-Cal RX Club Regular Meets can all head over to the AutoBacs afterwards.

The South Bay meet is 15-20 minutes from AutoBacs. From Long Beach, south 405 to the 22. 2 exits up, off at Beach Blvd N and go left thru 2-3 lights. It's closer to the South Bay meet than the OC guys! :D

by the way..ive been seeing alot of 8's in buena park? do any of you happen to pass by there or live there?

 

So no way we can just combine the two? It's like the midpoint for both sides..and that means more people might show up. Usually at these things we get like 5 cars at most... with two groups converging, we might get 10+?

How about Autobacs at noon? That way if the other two meets only have like 2-5 people there, they can meet more people at Autobacs.

<Like I said before, we're not buying their expensive stuff, just meeting there and check out other cars...:P>

 

I am in Cypress Gary, so you may have seen me at one time.. that is if you saw a silver.

Personally I think it would be really cool to have a huge group all together. But since I have never been to one I cannot make any accurate commments.

 

I'm in Cerritos now myself, and the South Bay one is closer to me... but it would be nice to have a ton of us show up at Autobacs or something... from the OC peoples.. like our celebrity poster mikeb.

Silver huh.. hmm I've seen a Yellow one headed from the Cypress area.. also a Silver with Appearence Package... I might be meeting up with Koala Joe and his Red 8...

 

Ok how about this... Dream Scenerio...

Meet at whatever location you gotta meet closest to you, then at noon, meet at Autobacs.. this is going out to everyone in SoCali...
When we meet, I can get some premade stickers from Polak for So Cali RX-8club members... you can decide whether you want to add it or not..etc... then we chat about BS cars, laugh at the STi's people that are parked at Autobacs, laugh some more about how silly we are all meeting because we are fortunate to own this car, then if we are hungry, make it down to Norm's on Beach Blvd, Grab a bite to eat, chat some more, about our Star Wars Collections and other weird hobbies... and uhmm ya, call it a day.
