so did the meet ever happen? i'd like to know. I'd like to see the pix of the meet if there was a meet that is. I'll make it to either the January or Febuary meet for sure . I hope kwescott and snowfl8k make it to the one i go to. I don't want to be the only 9 ball making out there all by my lonesome.

 

Goign racing tomorow! Wish me luck. I will post lots of pics when i return!

Dash kit was installed this morning. Finally, after five days of looking at it in the house, we had some time to devote to the installation. Pics are in the multimedia section.....lets see how long this one stays open...

Snowfl8k and I will be at the autocross event at the California speedway. There is also a D1 drift event at Irwindale that weekend. That's a lot of competition......

I think I would be up for the 7th.

 

Hey all! The track day was awsome! Turns out there was an instructor for hire there so for $40 he spent half the day with me. An interesting twist was that he is the official event driver for Mazda! He tours the country doing those Mazda Ride and Drive event things so he was REALLY familiar with the RX-8. The guy showed me things about the car I never thought was possible.
We arrived at 7:30 AM (19 degrees F BTW) and didnt leave until about 5:30 PM. It warmed to about 55F during the day. I was the only RX8 among 50 or so EVO's and STi's

All in all a blast....I will probably go again in January to ButtonWillow for the 2-day event.

Anywho, I am moving to OC on WED so I may dissapear for a bit. Skool starts Jan 9th. I want to schedule out next meet ASAP!!! Lets get on it people!
