Normally those are what cops consider "add-on" tickets.

ie: I'll pull you over for speeding and add on the following offenses....

You guys should have put Danny up front with his radar detector and
In the current world....tint and no front plates are reasons for cops to pull you over...gives them the right to assume you have other illegal things done to the car. Tint and no plate gives them probably cause.....to check for illegal exhaust systems (no Cats)...and FI systems....

i got ticketed a few weeks ago for tint and no front plate. i guess they are cracking down on it. i almost always drive w/ my windows down now.

jesse, are you actually going to pay that fine for the tint to keep it on? it'd be cheaper to take it off yourself and then have it put back on after.

Jessie, check with the tint shop you used...sometimes, they will give you a discount on a second tint job...but often, they will charge you to remove the old film and remove the adhesive...so if you do this, it would greatly decrease the cost of the job.

Also, some shops offer you free re-tints....if you get a ticket for tint...but only if you buy their top of the line film...just something to check.

Don't know what % film you had, but you may want to consider going one shade less black.

Sorry bout the ticket...yes, they suck. They definely give you, that "why me" feeling.

it's not hard to take tint off yourself either(exception of the rear windshield). it's just very sticky. if you do this all you'll pay at the tint shop is to retint.

you only need to remove the tint from the front side windows...any window behind the frnts can have any tint on them you want...heck, you can even have them painted in solid black paint. The tint ticket is for the front "roll-ups" only.

yup....just a soapy *** sponge and some elbow grease...especially if the tint has only been of for a short period of time...or if the car is garaged.

My radar was going off like crazy yesterday. After the Cruz me and Sahara decided to go to Glendale Galleria and on the way we saw the Black Porsche Carrera GT we saw earlier heading the opposite direction on Las Virgenes got pulled over by the piggies and from what I read on the Ferrari forums he got a nasty ticket.

The Cruz was awesome but too short this time. Seeing the rest of the cars fo up there was great because they all turned around since we were there first. LOL. Just seeing them stop by was cool. I had fun and my girl had so much fun. The red RX8 I give you props for paying attention behind you when you moved out of the way before almost getting hit. Cool dude.

That is what you call a trophy ticket for the cop and toilet paper for the driver.
