Has anyone gotten the "M" flash at Irvine Mazda??

I brought my car in yesterday and asked for the "M" flash...but when i got my car back, looked at the invoice and it said it was calibrated from "H" to "L"...so then, while I was driving to lunch today, the "check engine" light came on...called them back and asked them how come I didnt get the "M" and they told me that they only have the "L" and I should bring the car back in for the check engine light issue...so are they bullshittin me or is it really true?? I dont wanna bitch them out for no reason

yes,
gas mileage is the same
but the car starts better and seems smoother
