I live in Ridgecrest, CA and there are a few dealers close to me: Bakersfield, Ontario, Lancaster.

All of those is at least a 1.5 hour drive. I just got an RX-8 (2007) that appears to be MPG challenged: 12 mpg in down driving like a grandma, less if I drive any different. I am scared to take it to just any dealer and I want to know who has a good rotary tech that will actually diagnose it properly and take care of it in case I need to cash in on that 8 year/100k engine warranty.

Anybody have any suggestions? I dont mind a sub 3 hour drive to get to a great dealer. Any help is appreciated!
