They've given me the run around for weeks now, all over a stupid simple OIL FILTER.

1. I called to schedule an oil change and stated my model + year (09), they say sure and we work out a day and time.

2. I show up on scheduled day, they take car and disappear for 1 hour.

3. Guy comes back telling me that mazda recalled the filters 2 weeks ago, they don't have any in stock. "new" version supposed to come following week.

4. I go home bewildered, do a bit of research to find out that nothing's been recalled.

5. I call back and call him out, he stammers, and tries to weasel his way out of the lie, says they're rush ordering the new filters "just" for me --should arrive the following tuesday. Tells me to come back on tuesday to get everything squared away.

6. It's tuesday, I call back to make sure they have it in stock. I hold for 15 minutes. Still not in stock, he says they will RUSH order (again) won't be in til thursday.

seriously, who doesn't stock a STANDARD PART for a CURRENT model vehicle?!?! Sorry, had to vent. I don't appreciate being lied to.

taking my business back to tustin mazda. a bit far, but their service is unbeatable.

 

i hate riverside mazda, mocc guys says they cool they have a meet but they are kinda gay with service any ie mazda dealer fails, the only good one went bankruppt :[

 

i went there because of what mocc guys said, but now i know not to believe mocc. haha... oh well.

after this oilchange i'll just go back to doing it myself.

 

yepp, they wanted to charge me 95 bux to do a tsb cause my car was lowered, everytging else was stock
