I've got say... $100 for ya to go towards the R&D for making an engine bay kit so I can see the dipstick, with a switch in the interior to turn it on and off. [tom-tom crash] Don't care if you want to mount it from the hood or at the back of the engine bay, whichever is easiest or lights the most or works better by your own criteria. Once u figure it out I'll buy the first kit.
And having posted that, if I have time to shop for myself/ my car, then I should get to my xmas shopping that I have yet to start huh? Thankfully the semester is over, so I shall get started X.x
I need to remove the eshaft bolt. Im going to use an impact wrench to take that bad boy out. But my question is is there anything i should know/do before removing the bolt. Im going to dissconect the spark plugs. Anthing else? And i turn counterclock right? What about when i put it back?
those flat opposed motors are a feat to look at. the only sad part is needing to change 4 cams if you get aftermarket ones. ftl...
and why is it with new subie owners swapping the diverter valve for a blow off valve just to make noise? there's no power gains and i'm certain that reliability is sacrificed to some extent fooling the ecu like that... so why do they do it? even with stock turbo and boost???
