LAX Area Meet
Lazi: does this mean I'm FINALLY going to get to meet you and see your ride?? haha!
Danny: I'd be calling the insurance company up EVERY freakin' day because we've only got a month to go!
Even if the insurance company looks at it, what difference does it make? It's not like they can magically import a new front end from Japan for you, right?? Or is it to figure out who is going to pay to try and fix the bumper?

basically... it's cuz i do not know if the incident is going through insurance yet. it depends on the other guy... i'm not reporting it. if insurance pays, my insurance goes up.. etc... if not reported, i fix myself, everything fine. cuz if it does go through insurance, they will have to look at the damage (reason i can't fix it yet). yea i would rather just freaking get this fixed now though, since insurance can't do much anyway, but my parent's rather wait it out. if i get too desperate, ill say the damage was on my stock bumper while i get the autobahn repaired.. or something... lol. it sucks!
yea i saw the thread bryan. lol... if i didn't have the kenstyle rear... i would so go for that. haha. but then again, that'd be like mike's car even more.
jorge, so would i still need the insurance company to look at the damage first? or just fix it and if insurance is involved, get them to reimburse?

take lots of pictures in case the insurance company does get involved but get your car fixed and you can always have them reimburse you.
The ONLY thing I would consider first is how much it will cost to fix. If that cost is greater then a certain percentage of the cost of the bumper then the insurance company will just give you money for a replacement instead. (which could be less then what you spent) It's kind of like when they salvage a car...
Have you talked to the person you hit? Were they thinking about going through insurance? How much dmg to the other person's car? Would you prefer to go through insurance or pay out of pocket?
