The puddle lights are something I installed myself since it was too hard to get the Japanese ones installed. (require a new wiring harness!!)

If I get my car back tomorrow, I'll try and get some pictures of the puddle lamps tomorrow night. They are pretty cool looking, most of the guys here saw them at the last meet.

may not make it tomorrow... have to go to ontario, then grandparents house to find my cat, and reinstall the stock cat tomorrow for thursday morning's recall appointment. we'll see if i can get it all done.

 

You guys should NOT be rushing to get this recall done unless you're already experiencing power loss in your cars.

I had a lengthy conversation with the Master Tech at the dealership this morning and he was saying that they're pretty swarmed by the "the sky is falling" RX-8 owners and his staff is just familiarizing themselves with the new compression reading tools, etc.
He said if you want a really thorough inspection (or you're not going to need the compression test...see Dealer flowchart) then you should bring it in soon. IF NOT, give it about 2 to 3 weeks for it to calm down and you'll be better off.

haha.. hmm... maybe i should just bring it in next week then. i only have these 2 weeks left before i head back to school, and won't have time.

 

can't really reschedule. or the G guys might take over. they might outnumber us again.

 

how bout we reschedule this month 4 something diff? like rasps BBQ or a canyon run ^.^ or both! food + twisties = amazingness! ill bring hot dogs and extra quarts of oil =D
