It is just bad timing my sister got VIP and table service at Hollywood and Highlands for her birthday and I have to go, it lands on the same weekend. I would've really liked to go and bring the wifey and her new dental floss bikini.

i just bought my rx8 like 6 months ago. its and 04 silver 6sp. i dont know anybody that knows about these cars. so im trying to meet people to start hooking up my car. when do u guys meet? and what time?

All my friends that I left in Cali 45 years ago have left with the exception of my father and sister. My father would leave in a minute but feels that at his age the disruption would be too much. The only reason my sister stays is to get a retirement. Business is moving out due to the Marxist rules imposed upon them and the taxes. Try and buy a home there on a modest income - next to impossible. Wait until tax time and you will get the rude awakening of a life time. Decent paying jobs are leaving for other locations and without a degree you will be lucky to get a job that will keep your head above water. If you do get lucky and find a good job, it will be miles from where you choose to live and now you will be introduced into the freeway system and it's congestion.

The allure of the Rich and Famous, Disneyland, Knots, the Pacific ocean, the beach communities. There are lots of ways Cali is a fun place to visit and travel thru but the shine gets dull in a hurry.

Do I enjoy going to Cali? Why sure but I go to visit my father, see friends and Seven Stock. Would I move back? Never willingly. I know that the allure of Cali works on you every time you visit.

even if I had the money.. I wouldn't wanna live in cali... but would love to visit often.. visiting is always more fun.. then making it a daily life.. cali is hella congested and the streets are ugly.. if I had the money.. hawaii might be one of my choices.. some exotic spot

 

Most of you are spoiled - You live in one of the most sought after destinations. The roads are good, no real taxes, high paying jobs, many things to do and (while a little high) afordable housing. The grass always look greener next door - until you get there and then you see the brown spots.
