i wanna get a custyom paint job for my rx8 next year, i want something different and not like anything here, i love white, mikes always looks so good cus you can see all the lines of the 8 but i dont wanna get white. I think when i get my kit next month and when i get a paint job itll look amazing, lotus have this real cool color called moonlight silver....id change up my rims and get some darker ones, maybe gun metal and get this color





i understand everyone is not going to like it but i think itd look real nice with some darker wheels and the knight sports kit

cool color!! if you wanna do something different do a custom color, get a new suspension setup coilovers etc, bride seats, 20b twin turbo, right hand drive (it'll be like driving in england again just on the different side of the road), and rims. that would be sick. Or another option is build a 2nd car strickly for show or track or whatever and keep the 8 as a daily driver.

 

Damn, Jason.. I don't think he's sold a $250,000 chanel bag yet to be able to get all those things done that you listed.

 

If a person is going to switch up the looks of a car to make it different its cool but you have to come to a point and ask yourself? what do i want to do with the car? do i want to track it or do i want it to be a show car. A good investment would be a 2nd car and build it for show or for track use, and keep the 8 as a daily driven car or vise versa buy a daily driver and build the **** out of the 8.

 

Well, the most expensive cost would be the 20B swap.. I would get that done before anything else. His car looks good as it is, so cosmetic changes should be his last thing on the list. Our local club should invest into a car one day, and make it a showcar. It would be strictly for show and no go as some like to say.. There is many possibilities, as long as you have the money for it.

For a good car paint custom/paint job. It will run you about $6K to $8K and thats with them striping everything and baking it

 

Gil, you almost always say let's meet the 7s on Thursday night. When they do show, it's always well after 9:30 and closer to 10. My mommy will not let me stay out and play that late on a work day. I also know that a few do not get off until 8 or 9 PM so if we meet on Thursdays it will be 9 or 10 before we would get a showing.

Now if we did a meet on Friday evening and started at 8 we may be able to get a good showing from those that get off late. Hell I'll schedule one and just see what happens. If I'm the only one that shows, then I tried and I'll just have a burger and go home.
