My old car club got some cards made a while back and they came out awesome! We got a good price for about 5,000 cards, but I don't know how many you wanna have made.. I'll get some better close-up pictures of what the cards look like, maybe get some ideas of it.





I'll try to come up with a nice concept, since I had to design business cards and flyers for a Landscape business before. But, if you wanna go with something fancy and a little more pricey, there is always CF business cards!

Phil, I have card that are cool. The cards have this website on it along with "invite" wording on them and a place to fill in your "user name" by hand
My bro just got a kick *** color printer. I can print them like biz cars and on photo paper.
The only thing is, Every 8 I see in on the road. Kinda hard to put a biz card on a 8 thats moving

I would not put much faith in the 21hp claim. With the supercat, maybe 10-12 maximum. Before you jump, find a sound bite for the Greddy. Unless something has changed, they have a Honda like sound.

 

 

I have a fancy color laser printer at work - just too lazy to cut up the stock if I print them.

Gil, Your right about the 8s seem to always be moving when we do see them. It would still be nice to have something to pass out. I was thinking of a little half page flier with a group picture of our cars with an invite in addition to the cards.

I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I was hoping to have something a little nicer to pass out as cards. How about a faded picture (outline) of an 8 that covers the card with the invite overlay. I have NO talent for art and was hoping that Gil, Anthony and the other artist types would come up with something nice.

I like the first card really. Not like we are trying to gain business for a professinal business or something.

 

It hurts me to hear you say this Phil, but I totally disagree with you on this one. The Greddy does not have a Honda like sound what-so-ever. In fact, IMO the Greddy exhaust is one of the best sounding exhaust for the RX-8! It gives it a deep sound, and not a ricey sound.. That's why I've always liked the Greddy!

 

Well, have fun and stay save! Besides that, you also made a good about the cards, we're not trying to gain business from the cards.. I think, maybe just cards or flyers will do. I don't think it's necessary to have both?!

 

You know that's why there are 50 different types and manufacturers out there. Each person has his own idea of what sounds good. Sound aside, it will never produce 21hp with just the catback and supercat and that I will argue (unless you presently have potatoes up your exhaust ). To my ear the Greddy sound just like a Honda but maybe with a resonator it could sound different (but I doubt it).

 

I agree with you about the 21HP claim, maybe 10HP at the most.. If even that! But, there are many other exhausts for the RX-8 that make it sound like a Honda, but to my ears Greddy is not one of them.. When did you have the chance to hear the Greddy in person? I don't know if you've ever seen my videos, but if you have a chance check them out in my signature I have a link to my YouTube videos showing my Greddy exhaust. Listen to them, and then search for Honda Greddy SP2 and you'll hear the difference between them..
