Las Vegas Area Caravan to Seven Stock. Who alls going to Seven Stock this year? This year there are supposed to be some happenings on Friday and Sunday. I'm just wondering if there is going to be a contigent that will stay for the weekend. I know I will and wanted to know if it was worth getting adjoining rooms and caravaning down.

Seven Stock this year will happen on September 27th. I usually leave early Friday morning have a leasurely drive down to LA and if there are any Friday events, go to them and return late sunday afternoon. I have a feeling that this will be the biggest year ever so don't wait too late to make your plans

There is usually another bunch that goes down early Saturday morning and returns the same day.

 

I'm still checking w/ work... i'd love to make it out there...

Ok good deal...i IM'd my supervisor and told her i need those days off..so she blocked them off for me, that way no one else can request'm...now hopefully my manager will approve it for me..

what time is the other caravan's comin thru Vegas? i wanna see how early i need to work on that friday

I would like to find out if my Jeep is able to haul it on a trailer. (2007 Jeep Liberty RWD 3.7 liter)

 

Yes your Jeep will hall it on a four wheel trailer if you take it easy on the up hill grades - don't overheat it as it's very hard on the tranny if it get hot (I have one of those Jeeps also). Why the trailer - why not just drive it?? Calif limits you to 55 pulling a trailer.

 

So Gilbert PM'ed me asking when our caravan leaves and if you all can join up. I told him you are all more than welcome to join us.
But. Let me say that we are not driving through Vegas. We will take the I-0 straight through.
If you all want to meet us I would suggest that you drive straight South from Boulder City on the 95 highway to Blythe Ca. Blythe is on the I-10. We could meet you all there and group together for the rest of the drive.

While that would be a sight to behold, it would add 4 hours to the trip. It might be better to meet up in Riverside area. Let's see who all is going and when.

Mybe if it works out right, that could happen. Let me talk to Jethro and see if there are plans for them to caravan - Vegas & Utah to meet in Vegas and meet Arizona in Riverside--------that has potential.

 

Gilbert, why don't you become the official caravan leader for Vegas. I will help you set it up (if you wish) but I will most likely be in Cali when you guys leave.

 

Since Jason seems to want to keep it a secret I decided to spill the beans. For those of you that do not know, Ray and Jeff are installing one of the Devil's Hairdryer on Jason's 8. This will be one of the Mazda Maniac/Black Halo Racing's finest and best offering. They will be installing it at Seven Stock as it is going on. I'm not yet sure how they plan on dynoing it, but that is supposed to also be part of the weekend. Stop by the booth and look at Jasons smile............

I contacted Jethro in Utah he tells me that the 8s in Utah have no plans on attending 7stock in any force. So unless someone knows the Utah 7s group, Utah is out.

Sucks that utah isn't very enthused about attending.

 

After I talk to my lawyer about time frame., I will know what I will be able to sched. So till I get a good answer, count me in till I say otherwise.

I don't want to get screwed about attending another one of these. Would seriously **** me off.
