Yeah 20 peeps would have been difficult to keep together. I'm a bit sour about Mazda not haveing the new rotor engine on display.

we saved the Mazda booth for last since we started in the South Hall. Talk about a COMPLETE disappointment.

No Kabura (even though it's not 'new', still fun to look at)
No Takai
No 16x engine
No Aussie version of MS3

Only a "Mazdaspeed" kitted 8. (which was a BASE MODEL)

 

The real MS 8 is a base model too. You know, less weight, more performance.

 

yeah, I realize that for track purposes the base model would be better BUT most people don't care about that. Presentation my man, presentation is king at auto shows.
Who wants to see a body-kitted car that doesn't even have a sunroof, leather, or a Nav system??
