Saturday the 2nd of december.
My girl is getting a few of her MR2 people together for a little lunch and drive. I am a rotary driver, and want some rotary support. . . So here is the deal . . .

Saturday december 2nd We meet at 12:30 - 1:00pm at Rosas cafe in Temecula for lunch. (28134 Jefferson ave, 92590) Then the fun part . . The drive!!! We are going to go through the foothills outside of Temecula. Let me re-phrase that; fun,clean, twisty roads with good elevation changes.


People are coming from San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino. I just wanted to see if I could spark any interest in the rotary community to join us for a cruise through the valley.....

Allright. We secured the patio. So this is a bump/update.
The MR2 people are into this to the point that the San Diego people have started a caravan thread.(San Diego to Temecula) The drive is not yet set in stone. But I know it will include some really great photo ops for anybody who is interested.
I am not going to try to take anybody away from a regularly scheduled monthly meeting. However, we are meeting at 1:00 p.m. which should not interfere with any other meets I have noticed. ( In other words, you are allowed to attend both )

So again . . Please .. . We need some rotary support here.

I've got a buddy who lives in Temecula that I haven't seen in a while so this way I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Count me in. I'll see if he wants to bring his new MX-5 out for a spin as well.

 

rglbegl, is your girlfriend still planning this? Posted on an MR2 forum anywhere? Any idea how many cars will be there? (sounds like fun!)

depends on whether my brother comes down from Utah this weekend or not.

 

I tried to change the title, but it didnt work. I sent a pm to zoom44.

But we are on!! We have an IE caravan starting off of lemonite/I-15 at the best buy. And the San Diego caravan is starting at pat and oscars in mission valley.Both Caravans meet at 11:30 and leave by 12:00 noon.

 

I hope to make it....If so, I will be at the Limonite meeting point. What kinda cars should I expect at this location...alll Mr. 2's?

 

So P&O's in Mission Valley at 1130 is the meeting point for the Diegofolk?

 

The IE meet up is at BEST BUY off of the LEMONITE exit.
