It seems that the dealers had their allocation cars released from the port before most of
the pre-order cars.
If you would like to drive the car, head on over to any of the South Bay Mazda dealers like
Sunnyvale Mazda or Oak Tree Mazda and
convince them that you are a potential sucker
for ($4K or $5K respectively) additional dealer markup.

I picked up my Ti grey car from Marina Motors yesterday (at MSRP) ... finally.
It was fun getting back from Capitola to Cupertino via Highway 17 .
I haven't had much time to drive it yet but my first impression is that it is a sporty car
and _not_ a luxury car. The interior fit and finish, engine sounds, smells and road noise
are not as good as my 12 year old Infiniti G20. But its handling, steering response
and look make up for its pedestrian appointments.
More, including mpg, later.
