The All Important Tinting

Has anyone in the SF Bay Area tinted their windows yet? Which shop did you use and would you recommend it?

This may be slightly off-topic (regionally) but I plan to do my own - anyone who can use a razor blade without cutting themselves terribly and can use a spray bottle of water should be able to handle it. just make a pattern from paper first, cut the tint, spray, place on the window, work out the air bubbles. Add fingernail polish if desired to protect the edges. That's about all I remember from the last time I installed some. Take your time - it's not that difficult. Just my .02 and of course IMHO.

No comments yet? I was hoping someone here has had some experience with either the Llumar or Huper films, or know of a good installer in the LA or OC area that deals with both. I am leaning towards the Huper Optik tints (original post by pelucidor) since they seem to look less mirror-like. Suggestions?

Thumbs up

Its best to learn to shave on someone elses face , pay for your tinting unless you feel you can do a proffessional job.
