While I was at Berge Mazda (gratuitous plug) there was a silver with a Mazdaspeed body kit, Mazdaspeed exhaust, carbon fiber hood and some after market wheels
Looked pretty nice. Don't know who it was and did not a chance to talk to the guy.

 

saw a VR yesterday on Cactus and 43rd Ave area, pullin into a gas station!! Looked like the polished chrome rims or aftermarket- couldn't tell. Had a spoiler.

 

This past saturday was filled w/modded rx8's galore.

Around 11:15 am on 202 passing arizona ave I saw a black 8 w/nice wheels and aftermarket exhaust.

I saw a TI with what looked like to be an aftermarket front bumper (couldnt tell what kind) driving west on elliot rd around 5pm

Then around 8pm I saw a VR w/a full MS kit going south on Gilbert rd passing warner.

 

VR, looked like after market wheels, no tint. I-10 West bound around 5:45pm. We exchanged

Saw you Tuesday or Wed morning inbound on I-10. I was in the Green Miata again in the carpool lane. Blew my horn and waved, but not sure if you saw me or not.

Spotted a Silver on the US 60 Eastbound at Stapely. About 5:05 pm. Girl driving and no acknowledgment. Such is life.

Spotted a BB with Chrome wheels in Mimi's parking lot at Alma School and Southern this morning about 10:00 am. Tagged it with an AZMC card.

Spotted a Silver on the East bound US60 at Stapely at about 4:20 pm

 

It was a long trip to Indy over the weekend. However, I made it with flying colors. I only saw 2 rotaries during the entire trip. A blue 2nd gen with a red hood while going through Oklahoma City and a VR8 between OC and St Louis. I was surprised that I did not see more. Maybe I was droning but I don't think so.

The 04 VR8 I have ran like a top. 1780 miles in 24hrs of driving (two days). I averaged 74+ mph for the trip (including pit stops) and still got 20+ mpg. Can not beat that. I hope things are going well in Az. Keep the spirits up and the wheels down.

BB sans spoiler, headed east on 60 between Superior and Globe/Miami - several times over the last two weeks. Didn't know anyone besides me had an 8 that goes that way...

 

Spotted a BB going East on Elliot at McQueen at High Noon yesterday.

Sat next to a Galaxy Gray with aftermarket chrome wheels. On the on ramp to the US60 East bound at Mesa Drive. Was about 5:05 pm. The guy looked over and that was it. No smile, no wave, no nothing.
Some peoples kids.

 

There was a BB with bumper damage in my neighborhood (parked at 13th and Mountain Sky).
Some GIANT ~17 year-old was getting in.
He looked right at me as I was heading toward him.
I waved and he acted like he didn't see me and got in his car.

74 MPH over two days huh? I'm guessing if you bumped that up to 85 MPH (avg) you could still make it to LA in two days for Sevenstock 10. Get the owners in Indy fired up and start a caravan. Keep us posted on your progress and any new friends (rotary) that you might run into in your new hometown.

Well I saw two Ti Grey 8's this morning. One headed out from the Airport and one at 51st and I10. 10:10 and 9:50 respectively.

10:30 On the way home I saw a Blue 6 with a lic plate "13BWife" !! Tried to get her attention but traffic was stuppid. Anyone know her?

Saw a SSilver heading East on the 10 right before the 202 loop and Pecos. I waved back, but I have a slow reaction time. I think that's considered the Chandler area, right?
Saw a Yellow on the way home as well, but can't remember where and it was a bit too far out in front for me to get their attention.

I think I need a new exhaust. I want to be able to signal other rotaries with the sound and pitch of my exhaust note.

 

Spotted a WB on the East bound US60 around the Loop 202 ramp. At about 3:30pm.

 

Spotted a Silver on Wintersburg road and Salome Hwy around 3:20 this afternoon.
