I see a few every day. Most of their drivers avert their eyes because they don't want to acknowlege me for some reason.
None that I spot are ever on the list, so why bother?

I second that. I used to wave but since there are more and more it becomes a less elite group. I Did see a nice black one with black wheels going north on Greenfiled/ Marketplace in Gilbert on Wednesday (maybe Thursday). We were both indecisive on which road to take cause of all the damn traffic. I turned west on Ray, you kept going. I was in a black convertible Eclipse, If I was in my 8 i would have given a wave...

The car is a major hit with the public, most of whom will some day advertise it for sale as a 6-cylinder. So what if they don't share our passion? The more $ Mazda makes from those people the longer we will still be able to buy rotaries and feed our own habit. And some of those people just may wake up to what they really have.

I'm elated.

Unfortunately, they are not all enthusiasts as we are, to them it is just a nice car. As TimH said someday they may wake up, maybe not. But I'll keep waving, cause I am an enthusiast and I love my car, and love seeing others. That's the only time we can see it's beauty from behind the wheel of ours. It is an exceptional vehicle and always turns peoples heads..

I saw a BB around 7:30am yesterday on Camelback and 44th Street. I was turning on 44th St. and they zoomed by me, didn't get a chance to wave, but it still was a nice sight to see. Always makes me smile

The way I see it, WE are the elite group, and appreciate our 8's. So sad for them they have not reached that level of appreciation. I'll still keep tagging them when they are parked. Once you have met the owners and expressed your enthusiasm, they usually come over here. Just look at Tucson drive, we got 2 newbies from that drive. They will WAKE UP eventually.
Well, that's my two cents.

I wish I saw more 8's on the road. They just aren't around here I suppose. I tag 'em when I see them though in hopes they'll join along in our fun.

Mac & Maniac - you're not RSVP'd for Sedona tomorrow? Maniac it's one of the most fun drives in the state (read: WAY more twisties than you had going to Tortilla Flats)

I see at least one a day in the East Valley. More and more every month. About half driven by women. This is a very good thing for Mazda and the Hiroshima plant.

Oh, yeah, and my 18 y.o. daughter REALLY wants one. By the time she can afford her own car the price on used 8s should be down nicely, and somebody who doesn't know what he/she has may be the perfect seller.

She's not driving mine before she gets better with a clutch...

Where'd YOU go? After losing the group Nancy and I went up to the overlook by the airport, then had a romantic lunch on our own in the Tlaquepaque brewpub. Came home through Jerome with some Porsches trapped behind a pickup. Next time I guess we should exchange cellphone numbers.

Yes cell #s and even FRS radios are a total must. SO bummed we lost you. We went to a rest stop and I think that exit is where we lost you. I was looking forward to talking more with you and Nancy. She seems like a total sweetheart.

GREAT pics and love the pooch working co-pilot

Once we got strung out along the road our FRS became little more than a noisemaker. I'll get cell #s next time so we can at least relink in town. All things considered, having Nancy to myself for a day was a pretty good thing.

Phone #s - they're on the members list I sent out at the first of April. Yours isn't listed on it but many of us have listed ours for that very reason. Awwwwwwwwwwww!! I bet it is a rare treat for you two to go off by yourselves for awhile. What a couple cuties you two are!

Spotted BB West bound on I-10 today about 5pm around 43rd Ave. Waved as I passed, but don't think "she" saw me.

Hey, did you notice on the Sedona drive the number of lady drivers is increasing?

Anyone out in the West are...Like Goodyear or Buckeye? Suppose I am the only one! If you see mine though, its got a Yellow and Blue parking pass in the front and the license plate says " UR MOM" I figured it was perfect for a high school parking lot! Sorry Mine is Nordic Green also has one of those Vinyl Bra things? It matched the color of my car and everything, you just see the little line across teh front? No clue but I thought it was neat lol
