LOL @Jazzmeson. Speedracer2169, there is a meet that I go to in Granada Hills. Wednesday nights at 9pm Carl's Jr. on Chatsworth and Zelzah, I'll likely stop by this Wednesday, just didn't go at all during the month of August. I only have the RX-8 to drive so I stopped worrying about spending much on gas

 

Sounds like a plan! I'll consider going Wednesday as well if I manage to stay caught up in online classes.

Likewise. Here's the snap shot from tonight; so we can say that there was once an active meet of SFV RX-8s this year.

 

Nice shot, saved that on my phone. My friends were all surprised to see several RX-8s gathered. It's such a rare occasion to see even one at a car meet Lol.

During the last year of RX-8's production run. Very few bought the S-II RX-8 that the numbers sold were fewer than DB7s Aston Martin had sold. So we can say that our cars are as rare!

No word yet, likely will meet at the Chatsworth/Zelzah Carl's JR then move to the donut shop again once enough people have showed up at 9:30 tonight. I'm not sure if I can make it though, I currently have a ruptured, rather minute, leak on my fuel tank. Jazzmeson, if you have the fuel pump remover-wrench, it would help. My leak is pretty close within reach to be patched up.

Wasn't at the spigot but at the seam where I thought it first was.

 

I do have the plastic ring removal tool if you want to borrow it. It's sitting in my garage somewhere so I have to look for it as soon as I get home from work.

Thanks. I am still waiting for the fuel pump and assembly to come in the mail. So far, since the weather has been cooler, I have had no problem with the factory OEM as I did in the previous days last week. It was obviously failing when the fuel tank dips close to the last quarter tank, the car feels like it was on governor-speed if I floor it past 3,500 RMP and it will go on limp more afterward, starts right up after a few minutes of cool-down. Jazzmeson have one also, I'll ask him first if he could bring his if he decides to show up tonight.

I might show up tonight at the weekly-Wednesday local meet. Same spot, 9:30 on Chatsworth/Zelzah parking lot behind Carl's JR.

Anyway, spotted this TiGrey when we went to Six Flags last Sunday.


BB parked on DeSoto before Strathern in Canoga Park. Then another TiGrey with an exhaust in the afternoon(did not get a picture), heading north on Canoga Park and turned left on Vanowen. Driver surely spotted me on the opposite direction, I waved as you threw an 'aloha'.


WB in front of me that sped up when the light turned green on Van Nuys and Burbank intersection, you made a left turn on Weddington St. towards Yogurtland.


And WWP with G35 wheels at the Victory/Reseda Park.

 

There are at least 4 rx8 owners that I see at ASU Polytechnic daily. There's a Brilliant Black, a really nice Red Shinka AT, Sunlight silver AT (met the guy), and a White.

I'll take pictures eventually but if the person with the white one is on here, congrats on the new kite (wing)!
