It started snowing up at the mountains this past week. But cold for us is anything below 50°, it was 63° that morning and everyone's layered already.

Around 6pm in Corona, you:WWP(?) with no "RX-8" badge (me: SS) getting on I-15N, you got a little (okay, maybe a lot) squirrelly one on the freeway after the off-ramp, there

I dig the blue flame exhaust pops between gears

ya, I don't start up the 8 if I'm going somewhere less than a couple miles away. If the engine's not gonna heat up by the time I get there, I'll usually just walk haha. And gas :P

Saw a red RX8 today at goldenwest college in huntington beach california. Had Oregon plates. Looked like a 2004. I see it there quite often. It's actually the first one I'd seen in a while a few months back and made me decide to check out an RX8 for my next car :D Glad I got one!!!

I always post with pictures, and my traffic were at a full stop, detective; besides, he had a legit set up going on spotted him two blocks away...

Forgot to mention that he has a full exhaust also. That was the first time I saw him on Vanowen, Jazz. I am always on that street around 1350-1400 to drop off my daughter. A little late that time, but I've never seen him on the opposite traffic, ever, as I head eastbound on Vanowen on the way to work. I'll see if I catch him again tomorrow. He saw me for sure since we were both the first cars on the intersection.

Gotcha. I'm working around that time so I won't be able to encounter you on the street. :frown: It's rare to see a tastefully modded 8 around where I'm at, that's why I was surprised to see that picture, haha.

Grace, I remember you had your engine rebuilt. What was the name of the shop again? I'm having overly rich fuel and idle problems right now, debating whether or not I want to take it to Tri-Point Engineering.

Damn, I just had a brain fart... It's "Lucky 7 Racing" [1(626)358-2705], speak with Tony. I had it performed almost 18 months ago. They are located in 2301 E. Central Ave., Duarte, 91010 on the 210 and the 605 Fway which is about 45 minutes to an hour from Van Nuys.

They bought my reman' from MAZDA and installed it for a total of $3,250. It could have been less than $3,000 since I had them replace the coolant reservior and put in new ignition system. Had I provided the parts, I would have saved at least $300-400. Anyway, they have a facebook page and always post updates on their customers and their race team.

If you are sure of going with them, take your car and another for a ride back. I spent $215 to have mine towed there.

Looks like my engine just cheated death. I finally found out what was wrong with my car... Small intake leak after the MAF that I was not aware of ever since I installed the AEM; it's funny because it ran for a while before it started to act up. Speaking of Lucky 7, there's actually a guy I know who works there, but I completely forgot about that place LOL. I could have sworn it was a place called Neptune Speed. Under $3000 is definitely a great deal; although I read that remans bumped up in price recently, so I'm expecting possibly around $4000 if I ever end up needing one.

Good for you man!

VR, last Sunday at Six Flags and at 1430 today in Seafood City parking lot, spotted this (not that it is relevant) bagged HONDA ODYSSEY and an SS with JDM corner lights.

0945: First Phantom Blue I've seen in a while, parked along Riverside Drive. And a Series II SS, still have the dealer temp. plates. Not sure if this car have been driven, haven't seen it parked anywhere else but on Magnolia Blvd.
