and i just saw a a grey 8 w/ a spoiler going down culver at scottsdale (the street that leads into either the harvard shopping center or colony community) going twds trabuco.

 

VR with a spoiler last night around 10pm at the Hidden Cafe off of Imperial Highway

BB and a grey 8 going down Culver between Warner and Irvine Ctr Dr going twds Irvine Center Dr at 12:50pm today

 

I don't know how much longer I can handle the RX-8 with gas prices like they are. I love it to death, but Mazda really screwed up on horsepower with this car. I can't help but feel jipped when I consider the gas mileage versus how much power it has...

 

don't blame mazda, blame the government emissions standards. they could've made it much more powerful but the rotary is very polluting hehe

 

PhotoChick: are you writing down your locations and times when you see people? haha Or do you just have a knack for remembering when/where you see another RX8? I always forget by the time I get home and sit down at my computer

 

Saw a VR 8, looked stock with chrome rims on the 5N getting off at Jamboree. then saw a black 8 with appearance that was going on the 5N as well, and drove behind me for about 10 miles...

 

i used Arco gas in the early 90's, but i noticed that their gas evaporates in the tank... LOL. well, other ppl i compared notes with seemed to experience the same issue- ie gas not lasting very long compared to other brands. back then they also didn't carry 91 octane.

remember those TV commercials Arco used to run with the taxi drivers blindfolded and saying Arco gas is the SAME as every other gas? Geez, i wonder why they had to run an ad campaign like that? LOL

anyhoo... i've been Arco Free since the early 90's and ain't ever planning on going back- short of all other gas stations blowing up.

 

i have a photographic memory down to the point where i can remember what i was wearing, how the weather was, and what was going on in my mind when things happen. i like it cuz people can't lie to me


speaking of which....saw a SS with a spoiler in the tustin market place (the jamba juice part of it) at 3:04pm today. license plate started with 5M

On sunday, I just remembered, I drove next to a BB with a chrome B pillar and a killer exhaust system on 101S near Moorpark. It had orange calipers w/ the RX-8 sticker on them. Looked good too! Anyone here?

saw a WB in IRVINE rolling down michelson away from jamboree. i stock damn near my entire arm out the window to wave - not sure if you saw tho anybody here?

 

Nearly everyday I see a silver RX-8 with tinted windows, body kit, aftermarket rear spoiler, cat-back, and HKS license plate frame at Cal Poly Pomona in the parking garage. Anyone here?

 

So... I saw three different RX-8's today in the same parking lot... that's excluding mine.

They were all found at the Super Autobacs parking lot at around 7:45-ish.
I saw the red one took off and gave him a thumb's up.

This one parked opposite of the Titanium Gray. I saw the guy leave and gave him a thumb's up while I was heading to my car.


This one was parked a couple spaces to the right of the red one.

saw 2 8s yesterday, a stock shinka going down Bristol towards the 405 around 420......and a SS going down bristol towards the 22, i was on the corner of bristol and memory lane around 545...

saw a silver AT on the 55 N today around 3:45 or so. We both transitioned from the 405 S to 55 N.

 

if any of you guys spot a ti gr out there give the old guy some props.
his plate says ronsrx8, and he about 70 yrs old.
