This is really cool how you guy do this. I'll see if I can keep a camera in the car just for this. Man, sometime I see other RX8 and wonder who is driving that car.

You live in staton? i think i've seen you around that area! - i'm down the street in garden grove n' i see a TI Grey all the time around the super autobac area (our meet place every other friday) n' i was wondering who that was. do you join the meets??

 

That's right, I live in Stanton. Go there to get an oil change every 4k to 5k miles. Use Royal Purple XPR 5W20 and seem that only Super Autobac have them. Beside they're so close. I will try my best to show up at the meet. This Friday or the next? Work six days a week, so it hard to go social with other RX8 owner.

 

^it's cool mayng - the autobac meet is usually just a kick back for most of us anyways - and yeah, it's this friday if the weather holds up. If not, we're probably at The Lounge down the street, drinkin' n' playing pool...and making women friends You're welcome to join - 8pm is pre-meet at the lounge and 9pm is meet time /end shameless plug

 

Just curious, any of you guys and/or gals attend Cal State Long Beach?

I've seen a couple of 8's there, but never really met any of the owners.

Anyone know if there is some sort of school automotive club? I know UCI has one.

which 8 is yours? i see them all over campus and have left notes on the cars of the people i don't know telling them to join just in case they're not on here already. there aren't any clubs that i know of.

Well, ahaha, that's the thing...

I don't drive one and I don't own one. I daily drive my mazda3...it was my high school graduation present after winning a bet with my dad. The only thing it out does the 8 is gas mileage...ahaha. I'm just a member to research the car as I am looking to buy one in about a year....but I may just skip out on it and go for the s2k.

Here's my DD. I photo chopped the front license plate and frame so you probably won't find it.

And it has a smaller antennae than in the picture...maybe the only one besides mazdaspeed3's...
And you'll find a very noticeable battle scar on the windshield from flying rocks on the passenger side.

On campus when I have class and my class schedule is as follows:

MW 9-9:50AM, 11-12:15, 2-3:15, 3:30-4:45PM
I'm pretty sure I'll stay after a little bit. Feel free to harass me during breaks and after I'm done.

spotted 2 ss 8s yesterday on the way home....... one was on the 405 south headed to bristol, some dude on the phone driving really slow in the fast lane........the other one was on the corner of edinger and harbor, i honked and you looked and gave me the thumbs up too!!<----are you on here??

 

i dont know if i should be posting this here, but im going to, being that it was ALL mazdas that i saw.....ne way i was headed to my cousins house out in HB and on my way i came to a red light, how wierd cus a mazdaspeed three pulled up next to me on my right side, and on my left was a cx7, then pulling up to make a left was the mx5, then across from me waitin on the other side of the light was a mazda 3 sedan and one of those mazda proteges....it was cool, wish i wouldve tooken a picture of this mazda family sighting

Saw two, count em two! velocity reds, one had the apperance package in menlo park today, pulling out of willow park on hamilton. Most likely going to dumbarton bridge, I was driving my pickup so I diden't wave or honk.

Alrite alrite, today is 2/1/08 and at 7:10 AM on going straight on Segerstrom and Bristol, I saw:

A blue RX-8 with mazdaspeed wing, license plate LVANDY, i think, mazdaspeed sticker on the door pillar, tint, and i believe it was a dark skin man, cant really see, the tint. Im sure its someone on here, car looks too nice

Oh yeah I saw one at IVC forgot what color but it had fender strakes.. cept they were on lopsided. It was pretty funny. I think it was on a staff parking space.
