wow i think the 8 community is getting bigger, saw a few 8s so far this weekend, all the way from goldenwest and pch to 1st and euclid!!! not only that the dude with the 8 we spotted at autobacs 2 weeks ago showed up at the meet this week!! NICE!! keep up the good work guys,,,

i saw literally 10-11 rx8s today
i went to brea-rowlandheights-walnut-chino
pisses me off, most of them are those asian fobs (i'm an asian fob too) that think since they have an 8 they have super big egos and they drive super fast and unsafe
most of all, they dog on others who have nicer 8s (with aftermarket parts)
recalling that one time me, kelvin (boa), and ray (saki) were hanging out at puente hills, this black rx8 drove into the parking lot with really gay 18'' black wheels with polished lip and a greddy exhaust, no drop and his windows down ******* us like WTF.
and then the infamous black 8 that has a reputation to give us the finger.
sigh....

and rotary rasp was telling me that the other day on the 405, he saw 2 8's, a black and silver i think, and honked at them and the black dude flicked him off... obviously didn't get the point
but it could also be because he has a train horn...we'll never know

well saw an rx8 at puente hills finally...red one. waved the peace sign and got a response. first time ever. I work at the puente hills circuit city. mine is the ti-gray 8 with axis rims and greddy exhaust. and no im not one of the mullet guys.

congrats on the e92 335i. my boss picked one up about a month ago, and that car accelerates like mad. (i think it was rated #2 in the fastest sedans/ coupes of the $35k to $40k range, though it's a bit unfair, because the car actually costs more than $45k in reality.) definitely a nice car...
to get the most $ for your 8, however, you'll have to sell private party. no other way around it. the resale value on our cars is just too low to get a fair shake on a trade in.
and, just a reality check. but, if you think you see too many rx-8's on the road, for sure you'll see a million more e92's on the road compared to 8's. they may not all be 335i's. but, honestly, the exterior body difference between the 328i & 335i is completely negligible to the untrained eye. (most ppl don't know to look for the separated tail pipes.) so, even though you'll have a much faster car, you definitely won't be as rare or unique on the road- ratio-wise.
bmw 3's are a dime-a-dozen. and, u can thank bmw and their aggressive & inexpensive lease plans for that. in my opinion, bmw has thoroughly diluted their brand name by making it too easy to lease a car. they're now as common as honda accords- allowing ppl who really can't afford them to put around like they can. no- i'm not a disgruntled bmw "owner" at all... <lol> at least it's 150% mine.

First rx8 to respond back. Yellow 8 turning left on Playa Vista as I was waiting to turn left, I gave some rock-on.
Also had some douchey kids flick me off in their Ti 8 (driver looked like the main character from kingdom hearts) nice...
I cant wait for the meet so I can interact with people who actually like driving their 8's and dont have a 2x4 up their ***.

but we financed the car with 15,000 down
4.9% APR so it will be mine soon lol
