when the light comes on, I think you have about 2 gallons left:
My avg mpg is about 17. 17x2 = 34.
That's kinnda close.... My math could be flawed though.

I've run out of gas once. This was the first week I had the car and I was anticipating the same mileage as I had on my Civic. I was getting 380 with my civic...and that was only 12 gallons. Those first couple of tanks in the 8 were so different. I think I got 230 on one tank, and 260 on the other. I continue to see a lot of variability in my gas mileage. This is why I stick with the light. It is fun to see how fast that bar sweeps across the empty line. It really does move fast.
Yeah I use to commute from Westminster to Aliso Viejo and had the luxury of driving the 73 (company paid transponder) however, I never got more than 220 per a tank. I recently started working for a different employer which is in Los Alamitos so my 8 gets a break on the miles. I put 27K on her in a 1.5 year. This year I anticipate only putting 6K on her. Also i noticed since I drice surface streets all the time I get about 180 per a tank.

you guys know the tank is suppose to be 15.8 or .9 gals. so why is it that everytime i fill up when that little light comes on, i can only get like 13.8 gals in the tank before it cuts off.???? and no its not full yet. i can get more in,like almost 2 gals. but it takes another 20min. to do so.

man Omar you are the only one that ever writes back on the event of seeing me. I have been seeing so many RX-8s in Diamond Bar and on the 10/210 Freeways.... Do any of you see me... OH! i forgot... I saw a Black 8 on the 57 N about Saturday night or Sunday night pulled over to the side with a truck. I take it car problems? I would have stopped but i saw you at the last minute..... I was the blue RX-8 with the sweet exhaust sound merging onto the 10W... ANYONE SEE ME!!!!!

. oh by the way saw winning blue on torrance bl. in torrance. also not to be left out two cars down was a greeninsh black blue looking 8 funny color

cruzing the freeways
so I went on a company retreat down to the Queen Mary yesterday and on my trip I saw 3 8's
-Silver 8 at the Queen Mary Parking lot (in the grass)
-Grey 8 on the 105, I think (young lady with long straight brown hair) (east bound)
-Grey 8 on the 210 just past Arcadia (west bound)
I was in the Inland Empire charter bus did you see me

Ok lets see... last night I saw 2 Ti Grays parked on Veteran ave. in Westwood, and the day before I saw a WB on the 101S to 10W interchange. Tried to speed up to say hi but you were havin none of that

yesterday i saw a WB on the 71N. had stock rims but alteza (sp?) tires, along with RB exhaust.
oh yea...and basically everyday i get out of school, i see a yellow parked in the parking lot of this one company on the corner of humane way and mission blvd. out in pomona.
that anybody around here?
