This is the THIRD time I saw YOU Winning blue Rx-8 with grey streak on sides that says rx-8 u look pretty hooked up I saw u once on I think sepulveda and twice on Lankershim tonite i saw u at like 1:30 a.m. on Lankershim

saw a red one on 405N in south orange county friday 3/17 around 5pm. it was raining, we nodded towards each other. looks stock with no appearance package or spoiler, but looked all nice and clean... probably cuz the rain of course.

i live in buena park but work in mission viejo (talk about a long *** commute). that probably wasn't me, i'm only in that area if i'm passing by on the 405.

 

How many miles is that Luds? My commute is from Fontana to City of Industry (35 miles one way).

 

same here, 35 miles each way... takes about an hour. drained the hell outta me in the beginning, but now i got used to it.

Saw a Winning Blue southbound on I-17 Monday afternoon, about midway between Sedona and Phoenix. Greetings from a TX RX-8 owner.

 

Alright, so here's the money question...with all those freeway miles, how many miles do you get on a tank? I keep telling people my mileage and they don't believe me, or they think I grandma my car. I get about 280/285 per tank.

 

I got 295 the last tank, mostly freeway.

 

^ i hope i can get that. in april when i start my new job, i have to commute from long beach to walnut, and thats easily 30 miles one way.

 

I've been seeing my mileage drop as the gas companies have been adding more ethanol. I've lost about 10-15 miles on my tank..not bad I guess, but with prices going up, and mileage going down...well, you get the idea. My highest mileage on one tank of gas was 308...kinda cool to see 300.

 

how low do you guys get the tank?

I've never even seen 250! but then again, I've also never seen the 'low fuel' light.

 

I usually fill up about 13.8-14.1 gallons. I always wait for the light and then usually give myself about 30 miles.
