AZ I found a second motor to rebuild.

First thing first I would like to thank RotaryResurrection for his great Complete Engine Teardown DIY
Complete engine teardown to bare shortblock how-to with pictures

A couple of week ago (around X-mas) I was lookin on craigslist and found a RX-8 motor and 6 speed trans for a $1,000 obo in sierra vista.
Not to bad I thought so I sent the guy an email asking some basic questions (year, miles, so on)

Got a response a couple days latter saying he never saw the car the motor came out of but was told it was a 2004 with less than 70k miles and he will sell it for 750 just because I want to see it used instead of sitting in his shop.

Then last weekend he sent me an email saying he was traveling and he is back in Arizona, am I still interested in the motor.
So last sunday I went to sierra vista to take a look at this 13b. (My RX8 needed the drive)

I got there and it was Beautiful I had to have it.
And then he said that for only $500 I can have it, and he delivered it too.

The only thing(s) I need for it is the upper intake manifold, throttlebody, and vacuum chamber with the 3 solenoid.

The newest version available in the US is N3H1-18-400R0A which is a remanufactured unit and requires your core in exchange.
