How much gas to Sevenstock?
For those of you that are driving from the Bay Area in your 8's, how much do you spend on gas to get down to sevenstock? I'm considering going but don't know if I can afford to spend so much on gas there and back right now.

I zoom therefore I am.
Went down last weekend. Filled up before I left san jose, filled up at harris ranch, filled up in HB at half a tank. Filled up in valencia since i stayed the night there, made it to casa de fruita for last fill up. Never got below a quarter tank on any of the fill ups.
I'll be driving down Friday morning and staying in glendora but meeting up with the socal guys in cerritos on Saturday, i think they're meeting at 5 or 530 am.

then you also gotta factor in the gas you'll spend rolling around here - then another tank n' 3/4 for your return trip...
i'd say ~$250 WCS (not including gas spent here)

i would say this is pretty accurate - i drove from orange county to san jose n' it cost me about a tank n' 3/4.

I agree with this. I used about a tank and 3/4ths to go from LA to Fremont, and i was doing 100 through most of I5. Think how good your mileage would be at 70

Doesn't your MPG fall after like 55 mph or something? I just acquired a 93 BMW 318i 5spd. Maybe I can use that but I don't know if I can trust it all the way down there.
